early exhibitions I have had exhibitions of my work from the age of sixteen. I spent many years as a 'boat gipsy' in the Mediterranean. During this time I had various exhibitions of landscapes and seascape paintings. artistic development On returning to the UK in the mid-nineties I decided to do a degree in art at Plymouth University and this I enjoyed greatly. I studied illustration and wrote a children's book but on leaving college I became very interested in exploring and creating three dimensional work. I developed my ceramics as a self-employed artist and illustrator I love exploring different mediums and styles. I spent ages trying to like abstract art in all forms but always ended up creating quite naturalistic work.. A few years ago this changed and I liberated myself through exploring my spiritual self in meditation and becoming more aware of who I really am. Art for me is about exploring self, expression of self and also about creating images inspired from the natural world which I love. current activities
